IUI Training
Focused practical training in intrauterine insemination
This seven-day program is designed for clinicians who want a structured understanding of intrauterine insemination and the clinical workflow surrounding fertility treatment.
Training covers patient evaluation, cycle planning, follicular monitoring, ovulation triggering, semen preparation, catheter handling and post-procedure care through demonstrations, case discussions and supervised practical exposure.
The program is designed to connect the clinical decision-making that happens before insemination with the technical steps performed on the day of the procedure. Participants learn how to select appropriate cases, explain realistic expectations and coordinate the work of the fertility clinic and laboratory team.
The IUI Training Model
ASSESS -> PLAN -> MONITOR -> PREPARE -> PERFORM -> FOLLOW UP
Each case is approached as a complete treatment cycle rather than as an isolated procedure. Faculty guidance focuses on safe practice, attention to detail and the reasoning behind every step of the workflow.
Clinical Training Areas
Patient Assessment and Case Selection
Participants review the evaluation of both partners, including history, examination, ovarian reserve considerations, tubal assessment, semen parameters and factors that influence the likelihood of success. The course also discusses when IUI is appropriate and when another treatment pathway should be considered.
Cycle Planning and Monitoring
Training covers natural and stimulated cycles, medication planning, follicular monitoring, endometrial assessment and timing of the trigger. Participants learn how ultrasound findings and the clinical picture are combined to make a practical decision about insemination timing.
Laboratory Coordination
The program explains semen collection, processing, washing, concentration and preparation for insemination. Emphasis is placed on communication between the clinician and laboratory team, sample identification, documentation and maintaining a consistent quality process.
Procedure and Follow-up
Through demonstration and supervised exposure, participants become familiar with positioning, sterile preparation, catheter selection, atraumatic insertion and completion of the procedure. Post-procedure counselling, luteal support, pregnancy testing and documentation are also covered.
